Premier League opponents - Crystal Palace

Take a look at next year’s opposition.

Selhurst Park Crystal Palace

Ahead of the Premier League fixture release day on June 18th 2025, we’re taking a look at our upcoming opponents for next season, having returned to the top-flight.

This time we take a look at Crystal Palace.

Stadium:

  • Selhurst Park

  • Capacity: 25,486

Distance from Elland Road:

  • 207 miles

Founded:

  • 1905

A memorable moment:

Time in Premier League:

  • 12 years

  • Having previously never managed to survive more than one campaign during the Premier League era, next season will mark Crystal Palace’s 13th consecutive term in the top-flight after winning promotion via the Play-Offs back in 2013.

Last season:

  • Often comfortable in mid-table and never under the threat of relegation, the previous season followed suit in terms of league form under boss Oliver Glasner. It was in the FA Cup, however, that the Eagles made the headlines, beating Manchester City in the final to earn their first ever major honour.

One to watch:

  • In a team full of exciting talent, the creative Eberechi Eze continues to go from strength to strength in South London. Brought in from QPR in 2020, the England international is equally as dangerous in a central attacking midfield role or out wide and has an eye for goal, scoring 14 in all competitions last season which included the winner over City at Wembley.
