Amassing 100 points, Burnley were runners up to the Whites on goal difference.
One to watch:
Alongside keeper James Trafford, defender Maxime Estève was pivotal in helping Burnley break defensive records last campaign as they won promotion back to the top-flight. The 23-year-old centre-half joined the club permanently in 2024 after enjoying a loan spell from then-Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier.
