Ahead of the new Premier League season, Leeds United hosted their annual Media Access Day where a number of different regional outlets were able to gather content of the squad for the upcoming campaign.
Those present on the day included the Premier League and Premier League Productions, TNT Sports, Sky Sports and Getty Images, as well as in-house media LUTV and the Leeds United social and digital teams.
Before the start of every Premier League campaign, our squad must go in front of the rights-holders' cameras to capture photos and videos that will be used across screens during broadcast coverage of our fixtures this term.
These images and videos captured will be visible on live showings through line-up graphics and animations, goal celebration clips, player analysis panels, official highlights and more. Supporters will also recognise the player pronunciation part of the day, where each member of the squad and staff will hold a board with their name and tell us how to correctly say them!
Some outlets would have also had the chance to conduct some pre-season interviews, where new recruits and the old guard could discuss the upcoming campaign for the rights-holders' channels.
The Access Day also serves as an in-house opportunity to refresh graphics for LUTV and our social and digital team, so that everything supporters can see from the club is up-to-date and relevant for the season.
