With the Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest just around the corner, Leeds United round off their pre-season campaign by welcoming German side FC Augsburg to Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
It is second Bundesliga opposition in as many weekends for the Whites in West Yorkshire, after facing Champions League outfit RB Leipzig last Saturday.
On home soil, the game was fought out over 120 minutes with the hosts coming out as 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha.
Daniel Farke’s side then continued their productive season preparations as they faced rivals Manchester United at Dublin’s iconic Croke Park during the week, playing out a 1-1 draw after Brenden Aaronson’s first-half strike.
The Bavarian outfit visit Elland Road in a first meeting between the clubs, having enjoyed an impressive campaign in the German top-flight last time around where they finished in ninth place.
The WWK Arena outfit similarly begin their competitive season next weekend when they travel to second tier FC Energie Cottbus in the DFB-Pokal before hosting Schalke in the Bundesliga opener.
The Elland Road encounter may give club record signing James Trafford a first taste of action on home soil, after he got his first minutes under his belt with the meeting with Manchester United on Wednesday evening.
The England international became the third signing of a productive summer so far when joining from Manchester City, following Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemović in moving to the club!

Our new North Stand Ticket Office will be open for the game. It is located at the bottom of Lowfields Road across from the Fan Zone. The Ticket Office will be open from 9am.
