Leeds United will take on La Liga outfit Villarreal CF at Elland Road, as a second pre-season fixture for Daniel Farke’s side is confirmed.

The Whites will face The Yellow Submarine on Saturday 2nd August, in a 3pm kick-off, continuing preparations for the 2025-26 campaign.

We have met before, having faced off during a pre-season friendly at the beginning of the 2021-22 season. Goals that day from Mateusz Klich and Patrick Bamford saw an entertaining 2-2 draw played out at the LNER Community Stadium in York.

Currently occupying fifth place in the La Liga standings, which would see them qualify for European competition once again, Marcelino Garcia Toral’s side will provide a tough test in this exciting encounter.
