Plymouth Argyle: Match officials appointed

Appointments made for Saturday’s fixture.

The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Plymouth Argyle on Saturday have been announced, with Jeremy Simpson set to take charge at Home Park.

The encounter in Devon will be the Lancashire-based official’s 16th fixture of the season, eight of which have come in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Whites have a strong record in their 12 matches overseen by the referee, winning six and drawing on four occasions.

Most recently, Simpson was in the middle for United’s 3-0 victory over Watford at Elland Road last campaign.

Plymouth, meanwhile, have also fared well in their three matches Simpson has officiated, winning twice and drawing once.

Last time out, the Pilgrims cruised past Millwall with an emphatic 5-1 victory at Home Park back in February.
