Mark Jackson will take a Leeds United U21s side to face Sky Bet League Two outfit, Oldham Athletic on Tuesday evening in their latest Papa John’s Trophy match (19:00)
The Northern Group B match will be played at Boundary Park, the home of the Latics, as the Whites are due to play all of their fixtures away from home at this stage of the competition.
Both teams have already played once thus far. Tuesday's hosts won their opening match with a one-nil scoreline against Salford City, whilst Jackson’s very young looking side were beaten away at Tranmere.
All matches have to have a winner on the night, with a penalty shoot-out deciding who is awarded an extra point should the 90 minutes end in a draw. Every team in the group plays each other once.
Fans are able to attend Boundary Park to watch the match, or alternatively subscribers can watch the full 90 minutes live on LUTV.
Oldham come into the game on the back of a much-needed three points in the league following a victory over local rivals, Rochdale. Whereas Leeds drew their last league game with a 4-4 thriller taking place at York’s LNER Community Stadium against Blackburn Rovers.
