Dutch defender speaks ahead of Fulham match.

With an assist in his last match at Elland Road and ten consecutive league starts under his belt, Pascal Struijk is playing an important role in a resurgent Whites squad that has picked up eight points from their last four home games.

Fulham are the next visitors to West Yorkshire and previewing the meeting with Marco Silva’s team, the Dutch defender spoke exclusively to Premier League Productions ahead of the fixture.

“I feel like in the last few games, Fulham have been picking up form so it will definitely be a tough game,” the centre-back said.

“But they are coming to Elland Road, which we know is a very hard place to play, and we have been doing well at home. So, we want to take that form, the crowd, into this game and then we will see what happens.

“We are confident in what we are doing. We want to keep that gap to the relegation zone or extend it even, and that is all based on our performances and what we show on the pitch.

“We are showing resilience against the ball, a lot more compactness and we are harder to break down, plus we are scoring goals. It has been a good run of form.

“The character is in the changing room so for us it is just very much focusing on what we do. It just comes to down to how hard you work and your desire.”
