Leeds United are proud to announce that Women' winger Paige Williams has been announced as the club's Her Game Too representative.
Founded in May 2021, Her Game Too is a passionate movement dedicated to tackling sexism and promoting gender equality within the world of sport. Recognising the pervasive challenges faced by women and girls in sport, Her Game Too strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can enjoy and participate in sports without fear of discrimination or harassment.
Through powerful campaigns, community engagement, and educational initiatives, Her Game Too aims to inspire change and ensure football remains a game for all. Leeds United have been working with the organisation since the 2021/22 season.
Paige Williams has been at Leeds United Women since the 2021/22 campaign, tallying up 81 appearances and scoring five times. One of the longest serving players at the club, she is a true role model for women in football.
Williams commented on the announcement, saying: "I'm incredibly proud to become a Player Ambassador for Her Game Too at Leeds United. As a female footballer representing the club I love, this means even more to me, it's personal. Football has given me so much, and I'm passionate about using my voice to help create a game where every girl and woman feels welcome, valued and respected. Together, we can make sure Elland Road and the wider football community is a place for everyone."
Levi Macleod, lifelong fan and Club Representative at Her Game Too added: "As we mark another successful year of partnership between Her Game Too and Leeds United, I am extremely proud of the progress we have made in our four years collaborating to promote inclusion across our club.
"International women's day is an important reminder of why this work matters - ensuring that football is a welcoming space for women and girls. Today we are also announcing Paige Williams as a player ambassador. Her support strengthens our message and shows a real commitment from within the club to driving positive change."
Sunday 8th March marks International Women's Day 2026, and at Leeds United, programmes and initiatives are ran year round as we seek to end sexism and champion inclusivity for all at the club.
The Leeds United Foundation hold the following year round, exclusively for women and girls: Football Sessions and Soccer Camps, Technical Centres, Performance Centres of Excellence, the Girls Academy/Leeds United Women's Shadow Squad, 16-18 Female Education Programme, and the Emerging Talent Centre.
Alongside these events, the Foundation also holds workshops through school programmes such as Premier League Primary Stars to raise awareness and champion inclusivity in children.
