The Leeds United Foundation continue to offer young females a host of opportunities to play football across the city and further afield, giving them a chance to develop their skills and follow their dreams.
The club’s official charity currently engages with over 600 girls every single week, including those who are just starting out and those who are looking to progress to club and international level - there is something for everyone.
For any young females that would like to start playing and improve their footballing skills, or for those already playing but would like the chance to work with our qualified coaches and continue their development, then there will be a programme for you.
The revamped Development Centres are now called the Skills Foundation Sessions and there are opportunities for hundreds of local girls to play football across a number of different locations in Leeds and East Yorkshire.
These weekly sessions are for any girls, of any ability, that would like to develop their individual skills and gain more confidence in football. The current sessions are as follows:
The Grammar School at Leeds: Every Wednesday 6-7pm
Calderdale College, Halifax: Every Wednesday 6-7pm
King James School, Knaresborough: Every Friday 6-7pm
Aspire @ The Park, Pontefract: Every Friday 7-8pm
If you would like to express your interest in any of the female only Skills Foundation Sessions, please fill out a form here.
