The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Norwich City on Tuesday have been announced, with Stephen Martin set to take charge at Carrow Road.
Starting out as a referee back in 2003, Martin has since gone on to officiate over 450 matches in his career to date, including 234 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship.
Last time out, the Staffordshire-based official oversaw Middlesbrough’s 2-0 victory over Stoke City at the Riverside at the weekend.
The Whites have a scintillating record when Martin has been in the middle, winning eight of their nine matches, whilst drawing the other.
The official’s most recent visit to Elland Road came in March’s 2-0 defeat of Millwall, with Willy Gnonto and Dan James getting on the scoresheet.
Norwich, meanwhile, have a more mixed record when refereed by Martin, winning on seven occasions, drawing four times and losing twice.
Martin was most recently in the middle for the Canaries’ 1-0 triumph over Queens Park Rangers last November.
