The Whites booked their spot in this stage of the competition after a scintillating comeback victory over Aldershot Town in the previous round.
A Rhys Chadwick double and a thunderous volley from Oliver Pickles handed Scott Gardner’s side victory in Hampshire, seeing the team progress to the final four.
That result came after United had finished second in Group C following games against Boston United, Gateshead, FC Halifax Town and Tamworth.
After finishing runners up in Group B, Altrincham then required penalties to overcome Newcastle United U21s in their quarter-final.
The winner of the tie will meet either Braintree Town or Sutton United in the final.
As a result of this fixture, the Premier League 2 match with Manchester United U21s has been moved to 1pm on Friday 28th March 2025, at Thorp Arch.
