The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Millwall have been confirmed, with Stephen Martin set to take charge at Elland Road.

The Whites have a very strong record when the Staffordshire official has been in the middle, unbeaten in eight matches with seven wins coming in that spell.

This season, he took charge of the goalless draw away at Hull City where Joe Rodon received his marching orders after two bookable offences, before overseeing United's 4-0 victory over Ipswich Town in December.

Most recently, Martin officiated our win away at Bristol City, with the only goal coming from forward Willy Gnonto in front of the travelling fans at Ashton Gate.

Millwall have been refereed by Martin 18 times, winning nine, drawing three and losing six. Yet to officiate the Lions this campaign, the former National League referee was in the middle for two fixtures in the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship season: a narrow defeat at Huddersfield Town and a 3-2 home success over Sheffield United.

2023/24 stats:

Games (all competitions): 23

Yellow cards issued: 112

Red cards issued: 2

Other match officials appointed:

Assistant Referees - Mark Dwyer, Jonathan Hunt

Fourth Official - Geoff Eltringham
