Max Wöber Retains Place in Austria National Squad

Ralf Rangnick names Leeds United defender in squad to face Azerbaijan and Estonia

Austria's head coach Ralf Rangnick has named his squad for the forthcoming EURO2024 qualifiers against Azerbaijan (24th March) and Estonia (27th March), with Leeds United defender Max Wöber retaining his place.

Wöber has impressed for the Whites since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in January, featuring in all nine league games and all but one FA Cup game available, forming a partnership with Robin Koch.

The Austrian centre-back has 13 international caps to his name, his most recent run outs coming in the 2-0 win over Italy and 1-0 win over Andorra.
