Leeds United forward Mateo Joseph was in electric form on Thursday evening, bagging a first half hat-trick in a 4-3 win for Spain's U21s against Kazakhstan.
Galymzhan Kenzhebek gave Kazakhstan an early lead after 12 minutes, before Joseph brought the score back to 1-1 moments later. Beñat Turrientes put Spain in front after 20 minutes, followed by a further two goals from Joseph ahead of the break.
The 20 year-old was replaced by Hugo Alvarez on the hour mark, before Spain conceded two more goals, setting up a tense finale at the Estadio Municipal de La Línea de la Concepción.
Joseph's hat-trick in Cadiz continues his fine form on the international stage, which has seen him rack up five goals in five games, since switching allegiances earlier in the year.
Spain's U21s will now conclude their October international window with a clash against Malta on Tuesday evening in Algeciras.
