Marcelo Bielsa has named a strong Starting XI for tonight's Carabao Cup clash against Crewe Alexandra.
Adam Forshaw makes his first start for the first team since September 2019, returning from a longstanding hip injury and having got a full pre-season schedule under his belt.
Diego Llorente also returns from a recent injury picked up against Real Betis in the summer, with the Spanish defender a key component at the back last season. He's joined by Jamie Shackleton, Pascal Struijk and Junior Firpo in defense.
Spanish international Rodrigo is named up front for the Whites, supported by Tyler Roberts in the number 10 spot, whilst Illan Meslier retains his place in net.
Completing the lineup, Marcelo has retained Kalvin Phillips and Jack Harrison from the weekend, with Helder Costa replacing Raphinha on the right wing.
The bench is also full of first team players, as Luke Ayling, Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Mateusz Klich are ready should they need to be called upon. They're joined by U23s Kristoffer Klaesson, Charlie Cresswell and Crysencio Summerville.
