Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Monday’s Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Whites are back in action at Elland Road following the international break, looking to go four games unbeaten in the top-flight.
Bielsa gave an update on team news ahead of the fixture and spoke about Wolves, who have finished inside the top seven places in the top-flight, since returning to the Premier League in 2018.
“Pablo Hernandez is fine,” said Bielsa.
“Diego Llorente has a muscular problem and Liam Cooper also has a muscular problem, but it’s not as bad, which puts him at risk of missing the game against Wolves on Monday.
“All of the other internationals returned without problems.
“Wolves are a team that is consolidated in the league.
“They have some new players they are incorporating into their team, but they have a system ingrained within their players, with a powerful competitiveness and this shows with the job they have done in their two seasons.”
Bielsa also spoke about new arrival Raphinha and revealed he could make his debut in Monday’s game.
“He’s an additional alternative to the right wing position, left wing position and eventually the central, offensive midfield position,” said Bielsa.
“Fundamentally, he’s a winger who can play on the right or left-hand side.
“Whether he’s involved is difficult to say three days from the game because in three days many things can happen, but if it was today he would be in the group.
“His adaptation has been very quick, instant.
“For this, I thank Victor Orta as he’s a player who can adapt very easily to our style of play.”
