Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media following Monday’s 4-1 defeat against Leicester City.
Goals from Harvey Barnes, Jamie Vardy and a brace from Youri Tieleman’s ensured Brendan Rodgers’ side left Elland Road with three points.
Bielsa gave his verdict on the outcome and highlighted areas which require improvement ahead of Saturday’s away trip at Crystal Palace.
“The result was fair,” said Bielsa.
“In the first 30 minutes it was difficult for us to defend.
“In the hour that we dominated, we didn’t manage to create enough danger.
“The players were badly distributed on the pitch by me in the first half and they were better distributed in the second half.
“Rather than Leicester’s pace causing us problems, it was more the fact that we allowed them to give the final pass with too much comfort and too much ease.
“We learnt that we need to defend better and attack better.”
