Marcelo Bielsa gave his reaction to the media after his side came from behind, to secure a late point at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Rodrigo’s stoppage time penalty levelled the game after superb work from Joe Gelhardt to win the spot-kick.

Speaking after the full-time whistle, Bielsa shared his thoughts on the match.

He said: “Apart from the initial minutes in both halves, we could control the game.

“We created not too dangerous and not too many, but a sufficient amount of chances to be able to win the game.

“In the initial minutes of the 30 minutes that Gelhardt played, he had very few contacts with the ball.

“But in the final 15 minutes he got the penalty and he had the options to score maybe one or two goals.

“I have the impression him alongside Rodrigo in the second half, created enough chances to have won the game.

“Last week looked like a performance without shine, this week was a lot more of what we are capable of.”

With the Whites looking to gain momentum whilst going in search of the equaliser, the Elland Road crowd took it upon themselves to help as always, roaring the team on towards the goal. Bielsa paid tribute to the supporters inside the ground.

“I received something that was written to me from Chile and it reminded me of a song that the fans in that country sing.

“It says that when a team is not playing well, the more you have to shout, because that makes them win.

“Today, in the moment when the team most needed it, the public had a decisive presence.

"That message I received from a country I love a lot like Chile, the game today today evolved that message.”
