The match officials for Leeds United’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Luton Town on Saturday have been announced, with Thomas Bramall set to take charge at Kenilworth Road.

Appointed as a Select Group Official back in 2022, the Sheffield-born referee has gone on to oversee 26 Premier League encounters and made another 53 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship.

Bramall has only ever officiated one match involving the Whites, a 5-2 FA Cup Third Round Replay victory over Cardiff City at Elland Road in 2023 which brought a memorable volleyed goal from attacker Willy Gnonto.

Luton, meanwhile, have fared well in their nine matches to feature the referee, with the Hatters winning six times and drawing on three occasions.

Most recently, the Bedfordshire outfit ran out 1-0 winners over Hull City at Kenilworth Road back in November with Mark McGuinness on target for the home team.

2024/25 stats:

Games (all competitions): 18

Yellow cards issued: 58

Red cards issued: 3

Other match officials selected:

Assistant referees: Mark Scholes & Craig Taylor

Fourth official: Neil Hair
