Leeds United full-back Luke Ayling believes the team have now started to fully adjust to life in the Premier League.

The Whites recorded a fourth win of the campaign, with an impressive one-nil victory against Everton at Goodison Park.

With a quarter of the Premier League season now having been played, Ayling believes the side are continuing to improve under the guidance of head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

“I think it comes from us working with him for the last two years, we’re into the third year of his reign now and we’ve got what he wants us to do,” said Ayling.

“I know we have a reputation for being a fit team, but our football shone through on Saturday.

“We played some quality football, broke them down quite a few times and we could have scored a few more, so it was a really good performance and a clean sheet.

“Before our last two games people were saying we concede too many goals, so to hold two very good teams to zero is very pleasing for us boys at the back.

“The first eight games in the league were always going to be a learning curve and I feel like we’ve learnt a lot of lessons from those games.

“Now I feel like our football is getting better, we’re not just running around and being hard to beat.”

Ayling also spoke about Raphinha who scored his first goal for the club in Saturday’s win.

He said: “We had the bit of quality to score the goal, with Raphinha scoring with a great finish.

“It was a class strike, he’s been doing that in training ever since he came in.

“He’s been brilliant so far and I’m really pleased for him.”
