Earlier this week two special events were held online for our Leeds United Junior Members to help celebrate the festive season and once again replace what would usually be their Christmas Party at Elland Road.

Due to the current advice and guidelines that are back in place because of COVID-19, the annual event was once again held virtually, with all Junior Members invited to join one of two events on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon.

Using the Zoom Webinar tool, hundreds of youngsters were able to join the two special events ahead of Christmas Day, taking part in the Ultimate Christmas and Leeds United Quiz hosted by TV presenter and avid supporter, Ben Shires.

Ben was on hand to welcome all of the young people onto the virtual sessions, encouraging them to take part in a fancy dress competition on social media with a winner(s) chosen each day, whilst also hosting the Christmas quiz and interacting with the members through the chat function.

There were also two special guests for the event on Wednesday, with first-team captain Liam Cooper and Under-23s captain Charlie Cresswell both on hand after training. The Leeds United duo took part in the quiz and also took the time to answer some of the questions coming in from the young supporters.
