At tonight’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Hull City at Elland Road, we will come together to remember Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight.
Chris and Kev tragically had their lives taken from them, whilst away supporting the club on 5th April 2000.
Before the match, wreaths will be laid at Chris and Kev’s plaque at the East Stand by representatives of Leeds United and Hull City, as a mark of respect.
When both teams take to the field, ahead of the 8pm kick-off, we ask supporters of Leeds United and Hull City to join together in a minute of applause.
In the 24th minute of the match, to mark 24 years since they left us, a video tribute will be played on the big screen.
We are pleased that members of both the Loftus and Speight family will also be in attendance at the match.
Chris and Kev will never be forgotten.
We ask for respect from both sets of supporters throughout the match.
