Leeds United will show their support for Her Game Too during our midweek Premier League fixture against Sunderland, celebrating another year of our ongoing partnership ahead of International Women’s Day.

The club proudly announced the partnership with Her Game Too four years ago, and from the outset have aimed to ensure Elland Road continues to be as safe and inclusive as possible for anyone visiting, including all women and young females.

To help celebrate the fourth anniversary along with International Women’s Day, the annual event which takes place on Sunday 8th March, there will be special guests in attendance at the game, additional branding and exclusive photo opportunities around the stadium, whilst the club will be hosting a number of events both internally and through the Leeds United Foundation throughout the next week.

The aim is for the relationship to continue to grow and develop between the club and Her Game Too, as we raise awareness around any discrimination that still takes place and tackle sexism all while creating a more welcoming space for all women in football.

Levi Macleod, our representative for Her Game Too, will be a special guest at the fixture on Tuesday evening and she has spoken out about the relationship with the club: “As we mark another successful year of partnership between Her Game Too and Leeds United, I am extremely proud of the progress we have made in our four years collaborating to promote inclusion across our club.

“International Women's Day is an important reminder of why this work really matters – ensuring that football is a welcoming space for women and girls."

If you witness any form of discrimination during your visit to Elland Road, please use our Matchday Incident Text Service, and text LEEDS along with all of the relevant information around the incident to 60006 as soon as possible.
