Remembrance donation

Leeds United can confirm that this season, through our matchday collections, the purchase and sale of branded poppy pins, shirt auctions and other initiatives, a total of £84,214.47 has been raised by supporters for the Royal British Legion.

The club would like to extend a massive thank you to all who have played a part in these donations, your support will help the Royal British Legion continue delivering vital, early-intervention services that improve the wellbeing of veterans and their families and create lasting positive outcomes.

Through the auction of match-worn poppy shirts from games against West Ham United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Nottingham Forest alone, a total of £39,084 was raised for the charity - an incredible amount.

It is important for people to remember that military service can leave lasting physical injuries and mental health challenges, making the transition to civilian life difficult for many in the Armed Forces community. With over 3,000 serving personnel put on recovery duty during 2025, continued support is essential to help those rebuilding their lives after service.

The Royal British Legion provides personalised recovery support to veterans and serving personnel, delivering expert casework and advocacy to those facing complex challenges such as homelessness, mental ill health, unemployment, addiction, and the transition to civilian life. Around 90% of the people we support present with multiple needs, requiring tailored, long-term intervention.
