The Leeds United Foundation hosted and delivered a number of successful Soccer Camps over the recent Easter break with over 900 youngsters in our local community.

To help keep children and young people engaged during each school holiday, the club’s official charity work hard to deliver Soccer Schools across several venues in Leeds, providing a safe environment for kids every day and ensuring they have the opportunity to socialise with like-minded individuals, look after their physical and mental health whilst also improving their football skills.

The football camps are open to youngsters of all abilities and the coaches are all DBS checked and first aid trained to ensure the safety of children at all times whilst also making sure they are enjoying themselves and having fun each day.

One of the parents gave some feedback following their child’s experience on one of the football camps, commenting: “I want to say a big thank you to the team who have been running the camps this week, my son has had a fantastic week taking part and cannot wait to sign up again for the next school holidays. Thank you again.”

A Leeds United Coach helping to deliver the sessions, also added: “It has been brilliant to be back coaching children fact-to-face, especially being able to see all of the participants having fun and making new friends.

“It has been a difficult period of time for everyone through the pandemic and being able to host these sessions again has been fantastic.”
