Leeds United Captain surprises Noah ahead of football session

Foundation run session for the blind and visually impaired.

Noah Blind/Visually Impaired Football Session

Young supporter Noah, who is now well-known and loved by the Leeds United family, attended one of the club's sessions for blind and partially sighted children recently, and to ensure he was fully prepared he got a special surprise from his friend Ethan Ampadu.

The session, in collaboration with McDonald's Fun Football, was hosted at Trinity Leeds University, and offers a great way for children aged between 5 and 11 to get involved in playing football in a safe and welcoming environment.

Ahead of his training session, Noah was surprised by the first-team captain, who took time out of his day whilst on international duties with Wales to catch up with Noah via FaceTime and wish him good luck, as well as give some tips and tricks to make the most out of his time with the Foundation. In return, Noah wished Ethan along with his Leeds United teammates also away with Wales, luck for their World Cup Qualifier on Thursday.

Delivered by specialist coaches from the Leeds United Foundation in partnership with British Blind Sport, these sessions are fun and inclusive, and designed for all abilities to help build confidence and ensure children that can't take part in other mainstream sessions stay active and enjoy their football in a supportive environment.

The Foundation will continue to run another two of these sessions for blind and visually impaired children, on Monday 20th April and Monday 18th May. They are free of charge, and you can register by clicking here.
