The Leeds United Academy have recently linked up with the Leeds United Foundation to donate various items of kit to help support a number of their programmes.

Working alongside the Active Through Football initiative and a number of other projects, the Academy have donated and delivered various training and playing kit that has been distributed across communities and families from disadvantaged backgrounds who require extra support.

Various items of clothing, including tops, shorts, hoodies, jackets, pants, socks and boots, have now been given out to over 450 participants taking part in our community programmes, whilst also helping over 10 local community groups that we are currently working with to ensure they have full playing kits to help break down barriers and enable them to participate in competitive games.

Over the coming months, the Foundation will be identifying a number of other participants and groups that may require kit over the winter months, to ensure they can continue playing through colder times.

If you would like to support the work being done to provide those in need with various items of clothing, please donate anything you can to our clothes and footwear donation box located outside Elland Road, opposite the East Stand Reception.

For any further information around making a donation, or any of the programmes involved, please contact [email protected].
