The Leeds United Foundation will be promoting the various Health and Wellbeing programmes they are currently delivering at Elland Road for the upcoming fixture against Norwich City.
Coaches from the club’s official charity will be on hand ahead of kick-off on Sunday 13th March, in the Family Stand concourse, to speak with Leeds United fans about some of the initiatives that are helping those in the local community that require extra support and motivation to look after their physical and mental wellbeing.
Supporters will specifically be able to find out more information about the following Health and Wellbeing courses, including Fit Fans, Sporting Memories, Fit Minds, Walking Football, Working Out Together and Fit Generations, at the dedicated stands, with representatives from Leeds Cancer Awareness also joining them to help raise awareness around Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
The Health and Wellbeing team have also recently launched their new sessions for the Working Out Together programme. All of these brand new sessions are just £2 to attend, with membership options also available for participants. The sessions currently available every week for supporters to attend, include:
- Monday, Walking Club, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
- Wednesday, Circuits, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
- Thursday, Soccercise, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
- Friday, Bootcamp, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
