2026/27 League Cup Group Stage confirmed for Leeds United Women

Whites drawn into Group T.

Bannister Prentice Stadium, Garforth

The Group Stage for the FA WNL League Cup has today been announced, with Leeds United Women drawn into Group T of the competition.

The Whites will start their group campaign with a trip to Halifax Women, before hosting Huddersfield Town Women and closing out the first phase of the competition by travelling to Bradford City Women.

Following the completion of the Group Stages, the 22 group winners along with the 10 best runners up will progress to the Cup Knockout Stage, with the remaining 12 runners up and 20 best third placed teams advancing to the Plate Knockout Stage.

Leeds have pedigree in the previous format of the tournament, having lifted the FA WNL Plate back in 2023.

Last season, Simon Wood’s side made it to the second round of the cup variation of the competition, beating Hull City Ladies before bowing out on penalties at West Bromwich Albion Women – an admirable run away from home to two tier-above sides.
