A number of Leeds United Ladies players took time out to visit one of the young female teams for Rothwell Juniors recently as part of a fundraising initiative.
Cath Hamill, Jodie Hunter and Emily Sykes were all on hand to support the Under-13s team during a sponsored training session they hosted on Saturday afternoon at Xscape Yorkshire in Castleford.
During the event the football stars were pushed to their limits doing various exercises, including football skills, running and taking turns on a few pieces of gym equipment, including a spin bike and rowing machine.
All of the money raised during the fundraising event will go towards supporting Rothwell Juniors for their next season, including funds needed for kit, equipment and facilities.
Well done to everyone who took part in the fundraising project and from the Leeds United Ladies squad and everyone at the club a big good luck to the Under-13s team for the 2019/20 campaign.
