Leeds United forward Joel Piroe has been presented with the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award, for September.
Our number seven was in competition against Andre Dozzell (QPR), Nathan Broadhead (Ipswich) and Aaron Connolly (Hull) for the award.
Piroe found the back of the net away at Millwall in the 15th minute, finishing off a stunning team move, which has seen him credited with the trophy.
Beginning near Leeds' own penalty area, Archie Gray progressed forward and passed the ball to Georginio Rutter, who in turn played it left for Willy Gnonto, before quickly receiving it back.
Rutter then saw the well-timed run of Piroe and found him advancing into the box, before the striker took a touch, then finished calmly with precision on his right foot into the bottom corner, to put his side ahead.
Daniel Farke’s team went on to win the game 3-0 at The Den, with Piroe finding the net again in the second half and strike partner Rutter adding the third.
