Festive football returns on Sunday as Leeds United make the trip up the A1 to Wearside to face fellow promoted side Sunderland.
Ahead of the encounter with the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light, defender Joe Rodon is hoping the squad can extend their impressive unbeaten run to five matches.
“I think it has been really positive over the last couple of weeks,” the Wales international exclusively told Premier League Productions.
“I think we have kind of built that momentum and confidence for the whole group. So, I think the feeling in the club is always good when you are winning.
“It is important to ride these moments and take them as they come and, of course, carrying it on into the weekend.
“We have been through some tough moments already this season. I think everyone in the dressing room understands the situation and the task this season.
“So yeah, like I said, this season is going to be full of ups and downs. It is important now with a really good run that we are on to embrace it and of course enjoy it.
“But I think even more to work even harder and keep this going. I think it is important not to get carried away and just build on what we have built so far.
“And like I said, the last few weeks have been really important and probably an important time of the season to start picking up those points.
“This weekend is going to be, of course, another challenge and difficult test. So one we are looking forward to and one we are prepared for.”
