Ahead of an Easter weekend of footballing action, Joe Rodon sat down with LUTV to look over the upcoming Sky Bet Championship clash.
Firstly, the defender began by sharing his thoughts on the important home win against Preston North End last weekend.
“We were kind of expecting a big fight going into that game and then to get over the line and get three points, I think it was a big moment for us,” Rodon told LUTV.
“Every team has something they want to prove and they want to win. I just thought it was a professional performance from the team.
“We just kept going and kept pushing, we couldn't get the third goal, but of course Jayden [Bogle] scored the second goal, which was really important and yeah, it got us the three points.”
Next up, Leeds United take on Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium in a Friday night kick-off (8pm), as both teams look to secure the points in their respective end of season battles.
Rodon explained: “We live in the now and this is all we think about.
“We don't think about what's gone in the past. All we're focused on is Friday night and we'll continue to fight and give everything for this club.
“Easter weekend in this league is always a big moment in the season and every team is fighting for something. So every game is going to offer a different challenge and be very difficult.
“And like I've said before, we don't look past Friday. It is another massive game for us and that's all eyes on that, and that's all we're focused on and hoping to put in a strong performance.”
