Leeds United will face Cardiff City in an Emirates FA Cup third round replay on Wednesday evening, at Elland Road.

The two teams drew in the first encounter in South Wales, a game which saw the Whites come from two-goals down to set up this replay and keep themselves in the competition.

Speaking ahead of this one, the head coach gave an injury update on his team prior to the match.

He said: “Adam Forshaw, Crysencio Summerville, Stuart Dallas and Archie Gray will be out for this match.

“The other one that is questionable / doubtful is Coops [Liam Cooper]. Yesterday he sustained a bit of a knee injury, so, we’ll see.

“It’ll probably be a decision for tomorrow, but I would guess it might be a bit difficult for him.

“Luis Sinisterra trained yesterday and he has potential to be in the squad, so we’ll evaluate that today and see what the possibilities are.

“He looked fantastic and we’re excited to have him back.”

Jesse Marsch has no doubts that this one will be another tough test, but it’s a game his side are aiming to win on home turf and progress to the fourth round after drawing the first match.

"We dug ourselves a hole in that match but by many standards, in the second half, we were absolutely dominant,” Marsch explained, when discussing the 2-2 draw.

"I think we’ll see a stronger side [on Wednesday], they played a lot of reserve players I think [in the first match], so I think we will see more of a team that they played against Wigan at the weekend.

“I always take the cup matches very seriously. In general I think where we are in this tournament, we can have hope to now handle our business on Wednesday night.

“It won’t be easy but we will be at home, the club hasn’t had a home FA Cup fixture in many years.

“We’re absolutely going out to win the match, we need to go match by match now in the league and the cup.

“For me, we need to get another complete performance, we need conviction, we need a win."
