James Justin and his Leeds United team-mates are out to meet Elland Road's growing expectations against Crystal Palce after a fine start to the season.

The Whites are unbeaten in the Premier League going into this afternoon's 2pm kick-off and acknowledges that results and performances have put the club's fanbase in an expectant mood.

"When you start the season as we have, picking up points in the Premier League, the fans have something to be hopeful for and obviously they're expecting us to go out there and put on a good performance for them," he said. "Hopefully we can do that for them."

Prior to kick-off the league table shows a five-point gap between Leeds and their visitors but Justin has echoed the pre-game warning sounded by his manager Daniel Farke.

"To be honest, when we've been watching the clips from their Premier League games they've been really unlucky this season," said the defender.

"They've got a clear identity, clear plan and not too much has changed from last season under [Oliver] Glasner. We're expecting a strong team against us today."

Sunday's game is the last action for almost three weeks as an elongated September international break pulls focus and sends Farke's players in various directions around the world. Justin wants to go into the hiatus on a high.

"If we could finish off the hard work for the start of the season going into this break it'd be amazing for us and put us in a good position going forward," he added.
