Leeds United ran out 3-1 victors over Chelsea this evening in the Premier League thanks to goals from Jaka Bijol, Ao Tanaka and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Bijol opened the scoring in the sixth minute, flicking a header over Robert Sánchez and into the back of the net, before Tanaka thundered in just before the break. Calvert-Lewin wrapped up the scoring on the 72nd minute, securing three big points for the Whites.

After the win, opening goalscorer Bijol spoke to the media, stating: "It is a really big one for us. Some tough period behind us and we really needed that one. We deserved it and we showed some good performances in the past games, but we just came with the energy and that victory stayed at home at the end, so I am really buzzing.

"There's no feeling like it, honestly," the Slovenian added on his goal. "And also to win the game after, at Elland Road, my first goal. Just really incredible."

On the change in team structure, the defender said: "It is just something that the manager felt that we should try. It worked well for us in the City game. We tried it today and it ended up working well, so we will see."
