Leeds United are pleased to announce Academy forward Jacob Render has signed a first professional contract with the club.

The 18-year-old’s one-year deal will see him continue his development at Thorp Arch throughout the upcoming season.

Across all competitions, Render made 17 appearances last term which included nine outings for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s.

The versatile attacker, capable of playing across the front line and in midfield, got a taste of senior football, notably netting in the 3-0 National League Cup victory over Gateshead and starting against Sky Bet League Two outfit Accrington Stanley in the Vertu Trophy.
