Jack Harrison has been giving an insight into how the squad have used the recent international break, as they head into the final few matches of the campaign.

The winger set up Patrick Bamford in the recent victory over Fulham and is now determined to finish the season in a strong way, whilst adding to his tally of six goals and five assists.

“We have had a couple of days off here and there but it’s been good,” Harrison explained on training over the break.

“We have had a chance to train hard in the gym, on the pitch as well and work on some things so we have been busy.

“It just gives us a chance to be a bit more intense and a bit more aggressive in training, so we have had younger players from the squad come in and fill in spots that were missing and we have continued working as normal.

“Intense training will get us ready for this last push until the end of the season so it’s like putting money into the bank, the more training you do, it comes out on the pitch.”

Sheffield United are the next test that the Whites are facing at the weekend. Despite being bottom of the league, Harrison was clear that the side need to remain focused against all opposition, if they want to achieve their ambitions.

He said: “I think for us we like to be ambitious as a team.

“I think as a group we would like to finish in the top half of the table and I don’t think it’s unreasonable either, it’s definitely something that we can achieve so yeah we will be looking to do that.

“You can’t be complacent with any game in the Premier League, I think us as a team will be ready for every game so we are going to take it as a normal match, prepare like we have been all week already and make sure that we are ready on Saturday.”
