Leeds United winger Jack Harrison spoke to the media following the New Year’s Day draw with West Bromwich Albion.
The Whites picked up an important point on the road, playing out a 1-1 draw with the Baggies at The Hawthorns.
Harrison was satisfied with the result, which sees Leeds remain above West Brom at the top of the Sky Bet Championship table.
“We have to be happy coming here against a difficult side and getting a point,” said Harrison.
“We made it difficult for ourselves, conceding the early goal put us in a tough position, but the personality we have throughout the team and the belief of playing our style of football, we were able to get back into the game.
“We made them feel uncomfortable playing their style of football as well, so I think we did well as a team coming together in making it difficult for them.
“The substitutes came on and made a big impact on the game, it was exactly what Marcelo Bielsa asked for, we know we have depth in the squad and it is good players can come on and have such an impact.
“I was hoping that we would be able to get another goal in the second half, with the momentum we had I thought it was going to come, but overall we have to be happy with coming here and getting the point.
Harrison also refused to get carried away with the current standings, insisting there is a long way to go.
He said: “We can’t get too ahead of ourselves.
“We all know it is a tough league and every match is going to be tough from now on.
“We have to keep level headed, keep doing what we have been doing so far and be consistent with our performances.
“Hopefully then we can finish the season at the top.”
