Leeds United winger Jack Harrison spoke to the media following Sunday’s victory over West Ham United.
The Whites recorded back-to-back victories in the Premier League for the first time this season, with a 3-2 victory at the London Stadium.
Harrison hit all three goals for the Whites in the victory and spoke of his happiness at the result and performance.
“I’m delighted to get a hat-trick,” said Harrison.
“It’s an amazing feeling and when you score three and help the team to succeed in a tough match like today’s it is even better, so I’m really happy to take part in the win.
“The last week we’ve been working super hard after the defeat against West Ham last week and we wanted to come back and show a different side of ourselves, a more aggressive side and intense side.
“I think we came out and showed that straight from the start, there were some patches where we didn’t because they’re a great side with a lot of talent, but we were able to control the game a little bit and finish the game off with three points.
“We’ve been really unfortunate with injuries and one thing or another, but against adversity we always work hard and push ourselves to the limit.
“The young lads coming in have done exactly that as well, showing their talent and character as well, so it’s good, we’ve been through a tough period and hopefully we’re coming out of the end of it.
“It’s important to get these wins and show character and we will build off that as well.
“Hopefully we can get on a good run of form coming into the end of the season now, we just have to take it game by game and see what happens.”
