Leeds United Under-21s have been drawn into Group D of the International Premier League Cup, with a home encounter against Portuguese side Sporting CP beginning the campaign.

Following that tie on Thursday 25th September at the LNER Community Stadium, Scott Gardner’s side will then host Bilbao’s Athletic Club on Wednesday 15th October.

A test against Borussia Dortmund follows on Tuesday 16th December in York, before Group D draws to a close with a home clash with Anderlecht.

Split into four groups, the competition pits Premier League 2 teams against top level academy sides from across Europe. Sunderland, West Ham United and Manchester United are the fellow English sides to complete Group D.

The top two from each group will then progress to the knockout phase, beginning at the quarter-final stage.

Please note, all fixtures are subject to change. Ticket information will be provided in due course.
