Illan Meslier has given his thoughts on facing Watford this weekend, in the Premier League.

The match at Elland Road gets underway at 3pm and the Whites will be looking for their first win of the campaign.

The Leeds United keeper said his side had to remain focused against the newly-promoted outfit this weekend.

“Sometimes it is difficult football,” Meslier stated.

“You have to stay focused because every game is very hard. But we are completely confident to try to win on Saturday against Watford.

“Last season we were promoted, now it is the opposite side. We know perfectly what we have to do.

“With the manager and the team we have a lot of meetings about the opposition we play in the next game so we will watch this.

“Sometimes I want to make less saves but I am happy to make the saves and to be important for the team. Now we just have to maybe score more goals.”
