Leeds United forward Georginio has been named our Socios Player of the Month, after his performances in September garnered 72% of the fans' votes.

Georginio has been in electric form this season, playing 11 times for the Whites, scoring in the wins against Ipswich and Millwall, and providing three assists to help the club up into fifth place in the Championship.

During the month of September, Leeds racked up two wins and two draws, with Georginio playing a key role as he was named Player of the Match in the games against Watford and Millwall.

Georginio has also formed a formidable partnership with Joel Piroe this season, who was also nominated for September's award, alongside Illan Meslier and Sam Byram.

The 21-year old will be hoping to continue his fine form after the international break, when Leeds travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich City, before games against Stoke and Huddersfield.

Georginio is the second player to win Player of the Month this season, following on from Ethan Ampadu who won the award in August.
