Leeds United striker Georginio Rutter spoke exclusively to LUTV ahead of Sunday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Millwall.
The Whites return to action following the international break this weekend, travelling to The Den.
Rutter began by explaining what the past two weeks have been like in camp.
“The international break was good for everybody,” said Rutter.
“We worked with a small amount of players, there wasn’t a lot and after we had a day off, which I spent with my family.
“When you have 46 games, sometimes a day off is important and then you can come back better.
“I hope everybody is good for the next game as we need to continue on the road and take three points this week.”
The 21-year-old netted his first goal for the club in the 4-3 away victory away at Ipswich Town and is now hoping to kick on with the Whites.
He said: “Last year was difficult, but now we have a good staff here though, and they have given me a lot of confidence.
“I waited a long time for my goal and the confidence came back, it is not perfect and I need more time, but I hope in the next two to three weeks I make more goals and assists for the team.
Rutter finished by revealing what he expects from a hostile environment at The Den, but believes Leeds can come away with a positive result.
“I know this game can be difficult for us and everybody,” said Rutter.
“But if we stay with the plan from the coach in training and if everybody is focused, we have the quality in this group to take three points and I hope we can do this.
“The Championship is difficult because everybody can beat everybody and right now we have one loss, a lot of draws and one win.
“I think the draws in the last games can be good, if you get three points great, but if it’s one, it’s not perfect, but it could be a vital one in the end.
“Everybody is ready, we have a good atmosphere here and we are ready to win more games, now it is clear and now I think everything is perfect to win more games.”
