Leeds United forward Georginio was named Player of the Match by Sky Sports and Leeds fans after his performance in the 2-0 win over Millwall at Elland Road.
The French U21s international helped the Whites secure another three points, assisting for both Willy Gnonto and Dan James' goals.
In what has become commonplace in games between Leeds and Millwall, the first half was quite a physical affair, as neither side wanted to cede control of the ball, with plenty of fouls and cards slowing down the game.
The breakthrough came in the 33rd minute, when Willy Gnonto picked up a ball laid off for him by Georginio, ran to the edge of the box and unleashed a stunning shot which rocketed past a diving Sarkic, smashing into the back of the net.
With Millwall desperately trying to get back into the game, Dan James killed it off in the 79th minute, when again Georginio the provider, rolled beyond his marker, passed it to Dan James, who after a quick pause, placed his shot and watched as it went in.
THE VOTING
Leeds fans voted in their numbers on Sunday night, with Georginio winning with 32% of the vote, followed by Joe Rodon (17%), Ethan Ampadu (14%) and Willy Gnonto (10%).
The award was Georgina’s seventh Boost Player of the Match of the season, having picked up the accolade against Plymouth, Birmingham, Swansea, Watford, Millwall and Ipswich so far.
