Craig Bellamy named his first Wales squad on Wednesday morning, with four Leeds United stars selected for their upcoming Nations League games against Turkey and Montenegro.
Karl Darlow receives his first call up for the Dragons, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Ken Leek, who was a member of the 1958 FIFA World Cup squad.
Having made his loan permanent in the summer, defender Joe Rodon has played every minute for Leeds in the league and cup so far this season, helping the side to two clean sheets in four games.
Ethan Ampadu will be hoping to add to his 52 caps for Wales, after captaining the national side in their previous game against Gibraltar. Leeds' skipper has also featured in every game this season for the club, as the Whites have gone unbeaten in the league, most recently defeating Sheffield Wednesday 2-0.
Dan James joins his fellow Leeds teammates in the squad, continuing his fine form from last season, scoring in the recent Yorkshire derby at Hillsborough.
Bellamy’s UEFA Nations League campaign begins against Türkiye at the Cardiff City Stadium on Friday 6th September (7:45pm), prior to facing Montenegro three days later (7:45pm, Monday 9 September), where the match has now been moved by UEFA to Nikšić.
