The Leeds United Foundation have once again teamed up with The Prince's Trust to offer a week-long educational course for youngsters interested in improving their coaching skills.

If you are between 16 to 30 years of age and would relish the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and work with qualified coaches from the club’s official charity then this could be the perfect initiative for you to get involved with.

Throughout the course of the programme, participants will not only learn more about sports leadership and developing action plans, but they will also continue to work on their communication, teamwork, and coaching abilities, whilst also building confidence and gaining a new qualification.

For those who may be interested in getting involved with the coaching course, coaches from the Foundation will be hosting a taster day event on Tuesday 7th February 2023, with the full week-long course running from Monday 13th February through to Friday 17th February in Leeds.

As mentioned, those taking part will also gain the ‘I Can Lead Award’ qualification, which will encourage participation and leading in sport and physical activity. This should help to provide a springboard for leaders into sport whether it be as coaches, leaders, administrators or officials.
