Leeds United Foundation staff continue to support the local community through this difficult period of time as they volunteer to help deliver food parcels to vulnerable families.
Coaches with the club's official charity have been spending time lending their support to the set-up at the Leeds East Early Help Hub in conjunction with Leeds City Council, as part of their emergency food plan to enable people who are struggling and have been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to be able to get through this difficult and scary time.
As part of this relationship, there has been a lot of hard work done with staff at Corpus Christi Catholic College, a secondary school based in Halton Moor, to provide children and families who attend the local schools with food parcels and essential items.
Teachers from the local College liaised with staff at Leeds United for their help and support and through working with our partners and colleagues at the Leeds East Early Help Hub a number of food deliveries have been made, including activity packs for children to ensure local families and young children are not going without and are engaging in positive activities. All of the packages delivered to the Corpus Christi Catholic College have been distributed to those most in need in the community.
