The Leeds United Foundation are set to host an exciting recruitment event for their College and Female Academy programme on Thursday 16th February.
The event will be hosted during the half-term by coaches from the club’s official charity at West Riding County FA from 2pm, and for those who are interested in signing up to attend the open event and learn more about the course, you can do so here.
Those who are able to attend the event will be able to hear from some of the leading sports providers in the region, as they discuss where they can take your sporting ambitions, their personalised coaching plans and the opportunities you will have to compete nationally in world-beating facilities.
The College and Female Academy Programme offers young females the chance to combine their full-time studies at Leeds City College with a football programme that is specific to that of the Leeds United female pathway.
There are both A Level and BTEC options for education that will work alongside a holistic training programme that includes weekly fixtures, strength and conditioning support and a dedicated physiotherapist.
Participants will train three times a week with UEFA B licenced coaches, and they will also be provided with full Leeds United training and playing kit, with travel to training and games provided from college.
Some of the other benefits included in the programme are access to first-team games at Elland Road, as well as a strong pathway into the Leeds United Women Under-23s and first team.
You will be able to apply for the course during the event, but you will also be able to apply via leedscitycollege.ac.uk, leedssixthform.ac.uk, or at leedssportsconnect.co.uk.
